Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 6, 2026
Welcome to SolarWhiz. Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your personal information when you use our AI- and engineer-assisted solar quotation comparison service. We handle your data in accordance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and its implementing rules and regulations.
1. Information We Collect
To deliver our engineering-grade AI analysis, we collect only what we need to serve you:
- Account Information. Your name, email address, and authentication details when you register or sign in.
- Uploaded Documents & Inputs. Solar installer quotation PDFs, photos, monthly electric bill amounts, and any details you type into our form — including vendor names, panel brands, wattage, inverter, battery, and pricing.
- Payment Information. Transaction references processed securely by our third-party payment gateways (e.g., GCash). We do not store your card numbers, e-wallet PINs, or banking credentials on our servers.
- Usage Data. Basic technical information such as device type, browser, and session logs used strictly to keep the service secure and reliable.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data strictly to deliver and improve our service:
- To extract data from your uploaded quotes and produce your comparison report.
- To maintain your comparison history in your account dashboard.
- To send transaction receipts, service updates, and customer support responses.
- To detect fraud, prevent abuse, and improve the accuracy of our AI models.
3. No Lead Selling — Ever
We respect your privacy. SolarWhiz does not sell, rent, trade, or share your contact details, uploaded quotes, or comparison results with third-party solar installers, brokers, or advertisers. You are our customer — not the product.
4. Data Retention and Security
Your uploaded files and generated reports are stored securely in your account so you can revisit them anytime. We use industry-standard encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, loss, or disclosure. You may request deletion at any time (see below).

As a data subject, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
